Special Mail Services (SMS) provides a door-to-door nationwide delivery
service for security sensitive and valuable items of mail. Second only to
Royal Mail by volume of home deliveries made, SMS has a range of secure and
reliable timed, next-day and deferred delivery options.
Our clients include the majority of the 'high street' banks, ticket agencies,
educational establishments and government departments, who value the nationwide
coverage of our secure network and high levels of customer service. Due to the
secure nature of our business we do not widely publicise our activities.

operation. We welcome the opening up of UK postal services to competition,
however, as we expect this will encourage potential clients to look to
alternatives to Royal Mail. We have already seen this trend beginning with high
volume users of Royal Mail Special Delivery moving across to SMS where they can
get lower prices and a more responsive customer experience."
