Secure Mail Services Open Two New Depots
3 April 2006
On 3 April Special Mail Services changed its name to Secure Mail Services
and on the same day celebrated the opening of two new depots in Finchley
and Waterloo.
The Finchley depot comprises over 10,100 sq ft of comprehensively refurbished
space, in addition to industry leading security infrastructure and systems.
High quality accommodation includes fully fitted offices and meeting rooms.
Over 100 secure delivery agents cover the North London area from Finchley
while 50 serve Central London from Secure Mail Services’ new and refurbished
depot in Waterloo. In addition, approaching 50 on-site operational staff
manage the secure mail distribution process.
James Greenbury, Chief Executive of Secure Mail Services, comments:
"We are delighted that we have opened these premises to coincide with our new
identity (Secure Mail Services). The opening of such state-of-the-art secure
premises and systems will reinforce the highest standards of security and mail
integrity that underpin our unique offering.
"I am delighted that these upgraded depots will enable us to enhance not only
the working environment for our staff but the efficiency of our secure service
to our clients."
