Postal Fraud Costs Bank Card Industry £20m p.a.
Figures released by APACS this week confirm that banks have lost £9.8m
for the six months to June 2006 through postal fraud, implying that, despite
the introduction of Chip ‘n’ Pin, postal fraud is still costing
the credit card industry around £20m per year.
